75th ASCLS Annual Meeting
July 17-21 -- San Diego, CA

Registrations are being accepted for the 75th ASCLS Annual Meeting in
San Diego. Do not miss the opportunty for Sun, Surf and Science!
Included with your registration are over 70 hours of P.A.C.E.-approved
continuing education, entrance to the Clinical Lab Expo, and numerous
opportunities to network with fellow laboratorians during this jubilee
celebration. 

Members will receive a copy of the preliminary program in the mail
within the next 2 weeks. Register by June 12th to receive the
"earlybird" discounted fee. For online registration, a printable

Book your room at the Westin San Diego Hotel 	
You may reserve a room in the ASCLS room block at the Westin San Diego,
the meeting headquarters, by calling 619-239-4500 and ask for
Reservations; rates are $189/night plus taxes and fees. The hotel is on
the conference shuttle route to and from the San Diego Convention
Center. Do not delay as the room block typically fills before the
reservation deadline of June 20th.

New This Year - ASCP Sponsored Workshops 	
ASCP is offering 3 full day workshops (6.5 contact hours) on Tuesday,
July 17th at the Westin San Diego. The registration fee is $159 for an
ASCLS or ASCP member on or before June 12th. Register early to avoid
disappointment as space is limited. Workshop titles are:


Morphology and Automation in the Hematology Laboratory
Body Fluid Analysis: Improving Your Skills
Molecular Diagnostics: Overview of Methods and Clinical Applications

peer-reviewed and student posters will be present on Wednesday, July 18,
